Summerland (2003 people 11,179) occurs as town on the west side of Okanagan Lake in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. A town is between Peachland to the north & Penticton to the south. A big center in the area is Kelowna, approximately 50 klick north, & Vancouver is approximately 425 kilometer away.

Summerland is placed inside a Thompson-Okanagan Plateau ecoregion. This is one of a warmly & driest ecoregions around Canada. These are characterized by rolling tablel& & major vale systems of the Okanagan, Thompson and Nicola streams, lakes, and wells throughout. the mean annual temperature of the major vale is more or less 6°C using the summertime mean of 15°C & a wintertime mean of -Three.5°C. the quick ecosystem consists of grass or even parklands of scattered ponderosa pine within a matrix of bluebunch wheat grass & sage brush. the area has a gently rolling surface covered primarily by glacial deposits.
